ClearSkin Scar Revision

ClearSkin Scar Revision is a laser treatment that combines heat and vacuum technology to resurface the skin, dramatically improving the appearance of coarse areas, scars and wrinkles. It has no side effects and achieves a smoother, rejuvenated complexion with lasting results. It can be combined with Near Infrared, Impact Expert and Dermapen to address more severe scarring.

ClearSkin Scar Revision uses laser therapy to create heat in the skin without injuring the surface. The vacuum enables the light to target specific areas of damaged skin deep into the dermis, causing thermal damage to the collagen fibres, thus stimulating collagen production whilst leaving the epidermis intact. The integrated cooling system protects the skin by preventing it from becoming too hot, ensuring that discomfort during treatment is minimal. Acne scars are diminished over time by enhanced collagen renewal, and it is particularly suited to scars that have indented the skin.

Typically, at least eight treatments are required, at two-weekly intervals.

The suction from the vacuum can be a little uncomfortable, and in some cases can cause mild bruising. The treatment is, however, usually well-tolerated. Skin can feel hot and appear red for a few hours afterwards.

No. Results are progressive and depend on the severity of scarring, but an improvement is usually seen after six to eight treatments.
